21 meetings and $12K+ in new MRR in 60 days.
How Leverage Point went from sending cold emails by hand to a pipeline that fills itself, signed a high-ticket client and found product-market fit for outbound.

In 60 days, Volente booked 21 meetings and generated 52 interested leads for Leverage Point, a B2B strategy consultancy in Ontario, Canada, adding $12K+ in new monthly recurring revenue and a high-ticket client. The unlock was a tighter ICP (founders and CEOs at 5 to 30 person tech companies) and testing 5 offers until a market-expansion angle clearly won.
Who is Leverage Point?
Leverage Point is a B2B consultancy in Ontario, Canada that helps companies with commercialization, sales and operational strategy. Founder Matt Schaubroeck is a founder-turned-operator: before Leverage Point he built and scaled the climate-tech startup ioAirFlow, which raised $900K, earned a spot on the TEDx stage and was acquired in 2022.
What was the problem?
He could close clients and deliver results, but there was no system feeding the pipeline. When we connected, he was:
- Sending cold emails manually
- Testing different outreach channels without consistency
- Juggling the founder and operator roles at the same time
What did we find in the first 48 hours?
- The ICP was too broad. He could help many kinds of companies, which diluted the offer and the messaging.
- The offer needed testing. Because he could help with so much, we wrote 5 different offers to find the one his ICP responded to.
- The process could not scale. There was no infrastructure to safely send more volume.
Within 48 hours we mapped his total addressable market, built a sharper segment around tech companies and rewrote the value proposition to be specific, relevant and curiosity-driven.
How did the first campaign run?
We set up new sending domains and warmed them for 2 weeks. The ICP was founders and CEOs at early-stage tech companies (health tech, clean tech, prop tech and fintech) with 5 to 30 employees. We wrote 4 to 5 copy variations testing different offers, value propositions, CTAs and subject lines. In the first 10 days live, positive replies came in steadily, and one angle, market expansion, clearly won because the offer felt unique.
How did we turn replies into a sharper ICP?
Campaign one produced 30+ replies and 15+ warm leads, and that data showed who was actually qualified. Some companies looked right on paper but missed key signals: a team too small to support consulting, too early in their lifecycle, no urgency to change, or outside the ICP by region or business model. We went back through every reply, positive and negative, and asked who booked, what they had in common and where the messaging missed. Campaign two targeted companies that matched the DNA of the first clients and fed real results back into the copy.
How did we scale it?
Once the right people were replying and meetings were landing, we did not reinvent anything. We turned up the volume on what was working, and every week the copy got tighter, the list got cleaner and the meetings got better.
What did the founder say?
Trustpilot review“Our company has been working with Volente for nearly a year. During that time they have been responsive to our business needs, and proactive in identifying areas of opportunities to grow our sales funnel.”
